Zachary Murphy
My name is Zack Murphy, I was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and came from a broken family due to Drugs and violence. My life as I can remember it started in foster homes, and placements for children from the age of 6 years old until 18; as my parental rights had been terminated by my own mother, and I was given to the Department of Human Services. I have seen a lot of things because I was placed in children’s institutions with kids with all sorts of behavioral issues not excluding myself. As an adult I eventually committed a felony and went to State prison. While incarcerated I lost several family members that were very dear to me, and went through a stage of panic as I knew life was continuing on the outside without me; My children were growing up fast, and my family was falling further apart. So I literally had no idea of what was going to be next for me! That’s when I decided to educate myself because I would need to become independent and supportive returning to the free world. I went straight to the jailhouse library and picked up several books on the NYSE; beings though I always wondered how it operated resulting in making money? While reading ” them” the books I thought: ” I can see why nobody would pick them up!” But I was determined and dedicated to learning and kept reading to see what I was missing out on the whole time! Once I finished I vowed to create a smaller but very informative book about the NYSE aka Stock Market.
